The side door is used to walk upstairs to the condo. The modest bedroom (just big enough for the bed) has a queen bed and modest closet. The on suite bath has a tub/shower and toilet. The living room offers a intelligent tv and modest breakfast table with adjustable leaves. The kitchen has a full refrigerator/freezer, microwave, full cooktop and oven. Coffee can be made using the keurig or French press. We savor sipping the coffee on the second story porch.

Getting the best vacation property experience:
Get the best rental home value:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Reserve your rental property in Fall or Spring to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Many rental management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guide magazines which often include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Choosing the perfect vacation home in Beaufort:
- To start, have your group commit to the best dates and a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. The Harrington in downtown Beaufort has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking pages. Otherwise, email or call the property management company before you book the vacation property. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to work out what is suitable for your vacation.
- Is your group looking for specific amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before booking
- Some properties allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask the owner about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
More considerations for your visit:
- Be sure you get the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
- At Check-in, note any issues with the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a great resource to find the best local beaches.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect your property!
- When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did you have a terrific vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
