How to find the best Fripp Island rental experience:
Cost saving strategies:
- In the Beaufort, SC area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental property six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
- Booking your Beaufort, SC vacation rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Property management companies often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Many management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guides which include special deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. - Upon check-out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you have not leave anything behind. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
