A appealing and completely refurnished third row beach home for you to make your vacation home with family and friends. Two mins. by golf cart from Fripp Island's beach, which is over 3 1/2 miles of pristine, uncrowded, white sandy bliss. 3 bedroom/3 bathroom, the Carolina Girl sleeps 8 and includes a shared dock on a tidal creek with direct access to the ocean. It is a dream for crabbing, boating, and paddling.
Set aside your daily routine and appreciate life the Fripp Island way. Cruise around on the Carolina Girl’s golf cart to check out the sights on the island. Listen to the ocean waves while taking in the gorgeous view of the creek from the screened-in back porch. Fripp Island is about 3000 acres of natural wonder which has been designated as a Wildlife Sanctuary. You will see plenty of alligators, deer, and birds. And Fripp is only a short trip from Beaufort, SC and Savannah, GA.
Your mood will brighten as you enter the home and take in its light, beachy décor. As you walk by the bar and wine cooler, you will be greeted with a impressive view of the canal. The kitchen appliances are all stainless, and the kitchen is well supplied with dishes, silverware, and all the amenities of home. The main living area is an open concept that accepts you to gather for dinner or movies.
The home has one bedroom on the main living floor which holds a queen size bed and has a full bathroom. The master bedroom (king size bed) and second bedroom (queen size bed and bunk beds) are upstairs, both with ensuite bathrooms. All bedrooms come with Roku TV (access to streaming services and complimentary TV). There is a gas grille available for you to “put the sear on” your preferred protein, whether that be steak or fresh seafood. The screened-in back deck overlooking the canal is a constant favorite. Savor your morning coffee or your evening beverage on the porch while listening to the ocean waves and feeling the ocean breeze.
The home sits way back from the road after a long driveway, and behind a stand of 50 foot tall pines and palm trees. So, there is privacy from the road, and there is plenty of space for parking up to 4 cars.
The home is centrally located on the island, so just a short distance to many of the most fashionable resort conveniences, if you choose at your option to purchase the resort’s club cards that will provide you with access to these. The Carolina Girl is a 3 min. golf cart ride to the Cabana Club (with its pools and wet bar), and Camp Fripp. We are also close to the Bonito Boathouse restaurant. Tips and Tricks to get the optimal Beaufort, SC rental home experience:
When to book & When to go:
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are high season in the Beaufort, SC area. To get the best value, consider changing your group's trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property managers frequently offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
- Often, management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guide magazines which include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Some things to know before you go:

- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent many difficulties.
- Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your visit, make a record of any problem areas upon check in. text the rental manager right away to relay your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your life at home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent reviews to drive more bookings. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
