How to find the best Port Royal rental home experience:
How to get the best rental value:
- Summertime is the most expensive season in Port Royal. Book your Beaufort, SC rental property in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
- Many management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guides which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Narrow your rental Search:
- Start by having your family choose date ranges and a spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. Discounted Rates! 2 miles to Parris Island and close to Sands Beach has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available online. If not, email the host before reserving the vacation home. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what is right for your trip.
- If there's a specific Beaufort, SC destination you love, browse homes that are either nearby, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
- If your family is traveling with pets, you must book a pet-friendly rental. Get details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Often, hosts charge pet deposits and fees.
Advice for a fantastic stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
- To make sure that damages aren't attributed to your stay, record any problem areas upon check in. Call the property manager immediately to document your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable vacationers disrupting your life at home. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Keep the property locked while you are gone! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
- On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to propel new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
