You can fit two cars in the driveway. Please do not park on the stepping stones or in the yard. Uber/Lyft can be tough but there are local taxi companies you can reach out to if needed. A bicycle would be ideal for the area too.

Finding the best Beaufort, SC vacation property experience:
Sticking to your rental budget:
- Summertime is high season in the Beaufort, SC area. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring months is an excellent way to save on your vacation. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
- In the Beaufort, SC area, The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved early. Reserving your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
- Some owners offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Look for your local Beaufort, SC area magazine upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides contain discounts for local shops and restaurants.
Use filters to narrow your rental search:

More tips for your visit:
- Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. Put the host's information in your smartphone.
- To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your visit, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the host immediately to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of issues.
- Be a good neighbor. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home when you are out, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- After your trip, leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to inspire more reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
