There is a regular coffee maker and a keurig. There is a toaster, mixer, blender, crockpot, hand mixer. Plenty of pots and pans. We spend tons of time at our home so it is not what you typically find at a rental. All the appliances have been replaced in the past few years.

The crab dock is so pretty and a great place to take photos. There is a great footbridge to walk over to get to the main part of the island. It is probably a 10 min. walk to the closest beach access and a fast 5 min drive in a golf cart.

Rental home booking tips and tricks:

Get the best rental home value:

  • To get the best value, try shifting your family's Beaufort, SC vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer warm temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Often, property management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guides which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Narrow your Search:

  • Begin by selecting vacation dates and a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Fripp Island home golf cart Included- Updated- Ready to Go has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible online. If they are not listed, contact the property manager before booking your rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to determine what is suitable for your vacation.
  • Visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the host about your furry family members before booking.

Advice for a wonderful stay:

  • We recommend storing the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if damages are assessed.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents many concerns.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • On check-out day, take a walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Many rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
