Tricks and tips for getting the best vacation home experience:

Sticking to a spending plan:

  • In the Beaufort, SC area, The earlier you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • June, July, and August are high season in Fripp Island. To find the most suitable rental within your budget, we recommend reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Beaufort, SC attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain deals for nearby tours and attractions.

  • Begin by selecting potential vacation weeks and a budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration you need. 652 Newhaven Court - Ocean Views and 6 seat golf cart included has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the property management company before you book the vacation property. Additional considerations:

  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
  • To make certain damages aren't attributed to your visit, make note of any problem areas upon your arrival. Call the host right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be a terrific source for finding the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a terrific vacation? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
