How to book the best Beaufort, SC vacation rental experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Fripp Island. Booking in the Spring or Fall is a great way to save money on your vacation rental. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties.
  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guides which will include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Filter your rental search:

  • Begin by selecting potential vacation weeks and a maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. MARSHMELLOW, Sleeps 15, ADA, Elevator - Two 6 Seater Golf Cart and 8 Bikes FREE! has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is normally accessible on booking pages. If not, email or call the property owner before you book the property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, SC destination you love, search for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you must book a rental that allows animals. Get specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Be aware that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Store the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To make sure that no damages are linked to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas during check in. text the property manager immediately to document any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few problems.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Re-check the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on great feedback to drive more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.
