Tips to get the perfect vacation home experience:

Finding your best deal:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal SC. To book the most suitable rental home within budget, we suggest reserving in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities.
  • The earlier you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation property six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides have coupons for local tours and attractions.

Narrow your Search:

  • Start by choosing your potential vacation weeks and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Coastal Elegance. Poolside. Just steps from the beach! Cards available. has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, call the property owner before you reserve your rental. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches. You will need to determine what configuration is suitable for your vacation family.
  • If there's an individual Beaufort, SC destination you are crazy about, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.

Some things to know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home.
  • During arrival, record any damages to the property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent a lot of issues.
  • Be respectful. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
  • At departure, take a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to propel new bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review.
