The home has a wealth of traditional Southern appeal and is well furnished with antiques from Europe as well as original artwork. Upstairs offers Queen Size, master bedroom accommodation and bathroom with a claw foot tub. There is a further Double Size bedroom upstairs as well as a cozy second lounge room with original floors and a fireplace. The upstairs lounge has a second plasma TV and access to the balcony where you can sit, relax and watch the world go by.

We just finished a major remodel for the downstairs. The kitchen has been enlarged and has all new appliances, new sink, all new cabinets and new wood floor. The bathroom has all new fixtures and floor. The new washer/dryer is located in a closet on the first floor. See these new photos.
Outside, guests are invited to appreciate some well earned downtime in the comfortable yard that has a gas fired BBQ. The yard is entirely fenced and we welcome modest family pets.

Strategies to get the best Beaufort vacation property experience:
Money saving strategies:
- Summer months are the most expensive season in Beaufort. Booking your vacation home in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
- Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property managers offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
- Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guide magazines which include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Selecting the perfect rental home in Beaufort:
- To start, have your family choose date ranges and a spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Convenient to Downtown And Parris Island has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Specific details about bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property manager before reserving your home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine which bed configuration is right for your family.
- Looking for specific amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or might be applied to your invoice.
Tips for a fantastic stay:
- Get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone.
- During arrival, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent a lot of issues.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
- Lock your rental while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Just prior to departing, take a walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
- Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
