Tricks and tips to get the best Beaufort, SC rental home experience:
Get the best rental home value:
- In the Beaufort, SC area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental home.
- Summer months are the most expensive season in the Beaufort, SC area. To find the largest rental within budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities.
- Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
- Property management companies typically offer renters an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC area magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local stories, visitor guides have offers and deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Planning and choosing a perfectrental:
- Select your vacation dates and spending budget.
- Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Fripp Island home located in Saw Grass neighborhood golf cart Included has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking pages. If not, reach out to the property owner before booking your home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about pet restrictions before booking.
- Are you looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.
More tips for your stay:
- We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Lock your rental while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
- Document any issues with the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be an incredible source for finding the best local spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a terrific stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
