Furry Friends:
We absolutely adore dogs and would appreciate to welcome yours, however we have had some issues with furry friends not treating our home with respect, so unfortunately we have had to update our pet policy.

Our top Vacation rental booking tips:
Cost saving strategies:
- Summer time is high season in Beaufort. Reserve your Beaufort, SC rental property in Fall or Spring months to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
- Some hosts offer rate reductions for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
- Property management companies usually offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
- Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guide magazines contain money saving offers on nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.
Make a plan and choose the rightrental:
- Select a group leader, select your trip dates, and choose a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Newly Renovated 3 Bed\/2.5 Bath 15 mins to MCRD has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is generally available online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the host before reserving the rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to work out what configuration is right for your group.
- Looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
- Traveling with pets? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Extra fees or costs applied to your agreement.
Know before you go:
- Get the owner's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- During arrival, document any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Be respectful of your neighbors. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
- Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
- At departure, complete a walk-through to confirm you did not leave anything behind. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your family have a fantastic vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
