Walk out the front door to the beach club which has coffee, ice cream, pizza, chicken, sandwiches, shopping, exercise center, business center, and other pools.

Walk across the street for tennis, or hop on the golf cart for a 5 min. trip to either of the championship golf courses.

Club cards are available for additional purchase. They are needed for use of eateries, golf, tennis, and pools other than our complex pool.

Tricks and tips to get the best vacation rental experience:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • Reserve your rental in the Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Some hosts offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Many property management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guides that include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Begin by choosing your vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the configuration your group requires. 338 Capt John Fripp Villa W\/Cart, Cards Available! has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always accessible online. If not, call the property management company before reserving the rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to establish what is suitable for your group.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? If so, use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or charges applied to your contract.

More considerations for your visit:

  • Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • At Check-in, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of difficulties.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers bothering your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • When it's time to leave, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a excellent time? Many rental home management companies make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
