How to find the best Fripp Island rental experience:
Getting the best rental home value:
- Book your Beaufort, SC rental in Fall or Spring to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
- Property management companies typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
- Often, rental management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guides which often include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Filter your rental search:
- Choose vacation dates and budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Private Marsh-front Home with View has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If they are not listed, email or call the property manager before you book your rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to determine what is suitable for your vacation family.
- If there's a particular Beaufort, SC beach you long to visit, search for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
- Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
- If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property owners charge additional pet fees.
Advice for a great stay:
- Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Upon arrival, note any damages to the property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent many concerns.
- Respect the neighborhood. Frequently, surrounding homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would back home.
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your group have a great time? Many rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
