How to get the best rental value:

- Booking your Beaufort, SC vacation home in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
- Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
- Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guide magazines that include money-saving offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Beaufort SC - Parris Island GRADS - Dog Friendly!! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible online. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the home. More tips for your visit:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed copy.
- Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Lock your vacation home while you're out. Keep your property safe!
- Document any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are useful if a dispute arises.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your peace and quiet. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've not otherwise known!
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at departure. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to stimulate future bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
