Our home is located across the street from a incredible park and playground and is about a mile walk from downtown Beaufort’s Waterfront Park. Port Royal is the closest beach, but our favorite is Hunting Island Beach which is about 20-30 mins. away depending on traffic. We are 45 mins. from Hilton Head and 1.5 hours from Charleston.

Taxi service and Ubers are available, but having a personal car is recommended if you wish to see all the attractions that the area has to offer!

We do offer a military/military families discount - send us a message when inquiring about your dates!

If you are bringing your pup along, we must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival. We have a entirely fenced yard, but the back fence is our neighbors not ours and there may be modest holes around the property, do not leave dogs unattended outside. Please note that cats are not allowed due to guest allergies.

Our home is located on a main road, while road noise is minimized at nighttime, there is a possibility of hearing cars during the day. Each bedroom has a sound machine.

Please remember this is our home so treat it like you would a friend's home and we will do our best to make you feel like you're a friend staying with us!

We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video outside all entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.

Please note that any refunds made in accordance with our cancellation policy will be less any credit card costs.

How to book the best vacation rental experience:

Sticking to your rental budget:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Beaufort, SC area. To get the best value, try changing your vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer great temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for more information.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guides that include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to select the best vacation rental in the Beaufort, SC area:

  • Start by choosing vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Beaufort Cottage Near MCRD with Beach Pass! has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, call the host before reserving the vacation home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Are you visiting for a single event or attraction? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added fees may apply. Ask the property management company about pets before booking.

Tips for a smooth stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.
  • Upon arrival, make note of any damages to the property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents lots of concerns.
  • Respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking policies reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let thieves ruin your trip.
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to confirm you didn't leave anything behind. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property owners rely on great ratings to propel future bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
