Is it a bad thing when the vistas are so good that your forget to get motivated to leave the home?  At 15 Fiddlers Pt, you can start your day with a peaceful breakfast on the porch and watch as the sea birds head out over the marsh to do their day's work.  As your housemates awaken and join you for coffee, the hues of the marsh will seem to change with every min. as the sun rises overhead.

When it's time to go to the beach, load up the complimentary golf cart and take a fast 5-min. ride to your favorite beach acess. Upon your return, you can rinse off under the the outdoor shower, and then head up to the porch to dry off and appreciate a drink. Then, spread out on the two couches in the family room while you catch up on the weekend's PGA tournarment, baseball or football game.  When you start to see the sun setting out over the marsh, it's time to spark up the grille on the deck or get busy in the open kitchen.  When the sun completely sets and the cicadas chirp loudest, head back out to the porch to watch the egrets fly by as they head home to roost.

Our top Beaufort, SC rental property booking tips:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • Book your rental home in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Find a copy of your local Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local accommodations and attractions.

Choosing and booking the bestrental:

  • Begin by choosing your trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Pet Friendly, Golf Cart Included -15 Fiddlers Point has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, SC vacation rental search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is commonly accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property manager before booking the rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds.
  • Is your group looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the best rental home.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to book a rental that allows animals. Request details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Note that some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.

Additional considerations:

  • Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Record any damages to the property during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute arises.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents quite a few problems.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, take photographs of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to inspire more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will be thankful you shared your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
