Tips to get the optimal Beaufort, SC rental experience:

When to book a Beaufort, SC rental & When to go:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Book your rental home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your group.
  • Property management companies often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Look for your local Beaufort, SC area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines contain money saving offers on local accommodations, tours and attractions.

Planning, picking, and booking the perfect Beaufort, SC rental:

  • Begin by selecting your trip dates and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Spectacular Views of Ocean & Pool includes Golf Cart has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is normally available on booking websites. If they are not listed, email or call the host before you reserve your rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your host before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional pet fees or costs may be applied to your invoice.
  • If there's a certain Beaufort, SC destination you crave, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

Additional considerations:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
  • Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're away! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • To make sure damages are not linked to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. Make contact with the rental manager right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors bothering your home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed everything at check-out. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, remember to take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on good feedback to propel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
