Sticking to a spending budget:

  • Summer months are high season in the Beaufort, SC area. To find the best value, shift your family's Beaufort, SC vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental home 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.

Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
