A Nature Lover's Heaven: Appreciate elevated and broad vistas of the ever changing marsh and the wildlife that comes through it from a Fripp Island Treehouse. You'll see herons, egrets, osprey, eagles, woodstorks, jumping fish, fiddler crabs, deer and racoons too. And the modest birds that stop at the feeder on the deck are an absolute joy to watch: cardinals, nuthatches, blue birds, painted buntings, wrens, titmice, chickadees, hummingbirds & MORE. Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful and seeing the light shift and the tide ebb and flow through the marsh grass is a real treat. Watching boats head in and out of Old House Creek is fun too. Bring your binoculars and soak up the magic! Birdseed is supplied for the feeders.
The treehouse is bright, open and comfortable and really brings the outdoors in. Off of the 1st floor entryway there is a enchanting bedroom suite (2 twin beds) with a deck overlooking the marsh and a full bath. Upstairs you'll find 2 bedrooms (each with a queen bed and adjustable base--great for reading in bed or day dreaming out the windows): the primary bedroom has a balcony overlooking the marsh and a full bathroom, and the 2nd bedroom has handsome vistas of the tree tops and a full bathroom adjacent to it.
The living room, dining room and kitchen are open and offer spectacular marsh vistas and space for you to appreciate one another or spread out. We know you will appreciate being immersed in the peacefulness of Fripp's marsh while only being a fast ride from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the island. There is outdoor seating on the decks and around the property for you to savor your morning coffee, an afternoon beverage, or a good book.
A 4 seat golf cart is included and is a excellent way to discover the beauty of the island. The beach and all of the amenities of Fripp are only a short ride away and the Fiddler's crabbing dock is just down the street. You are also welcome to use the adult tandem bicycle and 2 cruiser bicycles (2 helmets supplied).

Tips and Tricks to get the best rental experience:
Get the best rental home value:
- Summertime is the most expensive season along the coast of SC. To get the largest rental home for your budget, we suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your group qualifies for a discount.
- Booking websites typically offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Many rental management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guides which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Use filters to search efficiently:

- To ensure that no damages are attributed to your visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during check in. text the property manager right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, television set or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few concerns.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Keep your rental home locked while you are out! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
- On check-out day, take a walk-through to confirm you didn't forget anything. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
