Booking the best vacation rental experience:
Finding your perfect rental home:
- Summer is the most expensive season in coastal SC. Book your Beaufort, SC rental in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
- Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Some property management companies offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if discounts are available for your family.
- Booking websites often offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
- Often, rental management companies supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guide magazines which include coupons, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself.
