Please read as there are a few recommendations for the home:
1. Please make sure the refrigerator door is closed after opening. It takes a bit of force to close.
2. To open the garage, come in the home first and press the middle of the up and down button on the garage opener. Please close it from the inside as well. You can come in through the back or from upstairs.
3. The right side of the garage is lower to the ground so if you have a tall car park in the left side.
4. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE ROAD OR IN THE NEIGHBORS YARD ACROSS THE STREET. If you have too many cars to fit in the garage and driveway, park at the golf course as it is only a 2-min. walk from the home! (Get a pass to park at the golf course in the pro shop).
5. Make sure to keep trash enclosure closed after depositing trash.
6. Please do not unplug the sprinkler system in garage

Tips and Tricks to get the very best Beaufort, SC vacation home experience:

When to reserve a Beaufort, SC rental home & When to go:

  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the best value, shift your family's Beaufort, SC vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer pleasant temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Property management companies sometimes offer special rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area visitor guide magazines which will include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship with the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Begin by choosing a vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group needs. 425 Ocean Point Lane - New to VRBO! Resort Access Included! has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Beaufort, SC vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible online. If not, call the property owner before you reserve your home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you must book a pet-friendly rental. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Some property owners charge additional pet fees.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to ask about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.

Know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of issues.
  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas upon your arrival. message the property manager right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful vacationers bothering your peaceful home. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
