Getting the best Beaufort, SC rental home experience:
Get the best rental home value:
- Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer time is high season in Fripp Island. Booking a rental in Spring or Fall is a great way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
- Booking websites often offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Beaufort, SC area visitors guide magazines which will include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Beaufort, SC visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Make a plan and choose the right Beaufort, SC rental:
- Begin by choosing vacation dates and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Precious Island Cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email or call the host before you reserve the home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
- If your family is vacationing with pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Request specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
- Is your family looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
- Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
Tips for a smooth stay:
- Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your smartphone.
- Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- To ensure that damages are not attributed to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas during arrival. Speak to the host immediately to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific source for finding the best local beaches.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- On check-out day, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a terrific vacation? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
