Welcome to your home-away from home on handsome Fripp Island. A private gated community ideal for a calming family getaway or peaceful time alone.
Savor three-and-one-half miles of pristine uncrowded beaches, wildlife sanctuaries, bicycle paths and nature walks. Fripp Island is located about 20 mins. from the cozy historic town of Beaufort, 60 miles to Savannah, and 90 miles to Charleston.
You will savor the comfort of our three bedroom , two bath home in the private community of Deer Lake including WIFI, a entirely equipped freshly remodeled kitchen with all new appliances. A enormous dining area, hottub tub and separate shower in master. King size bed in master, two guest rooms each with queen-size beds. 300 count linens and very comfortable beds. 4 beach bicycles to cruise the nature paths or use the 4 person golf cart which is supplied in your stay!
Our guests are welcome to appreciate the private Deer Lake pool and kids's playground just steps from your front door. Sip coffee in the morning on the front porch watching the deer in the front yard and eat enjoy private dinners on the screened back porch overlooking , wooded, nature filled yard and creek.
Spend your days at the pool, beach or just relaxing and exploring the island on your golf cart or bicycles. You will soon see why the Fripp Island area has been chosen to film so many movies, such as Forrest Gump, Prince of Tides and Junglebook.
Fripp Island is also the chosen home of author Pat Conroy, famed for writing numerous books. July though October is nesting time for the turtles on the beach. If you come during this time be sure to follow directions on visiting the sites.
