Tips and Tricks to get the very best Beaufort, SC vacation rental experience:
When to reserve a Beaufort, SC rental home & When to go:
- The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Booking your vacation rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
- To find the best value, change your trip dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Booking websites often offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guides contain coupons for local accommodations, tours and attractions.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- Choose a designated group leader, select your dates, and choose a spending budget.
- Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Newly Updated Sunsuite! Resort Access Always Included! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available online. If they are not listed, email or call the property management company before you book the rental. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Ask for information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
- Visiting for a specific event or attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.
More considerations for your visit:
- Get the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your . Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
- Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your things!
- At Check-in, record any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the host. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Respect your neighbors. Frequently, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting quiet hours and parking rules is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your family have a excellent time? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
