- Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Minutes to Parris Island w\/Pool and 2 Master Bdr has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is often accessible on booking pages. If not, call the property management company before reserving the rental. - Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are gone, just like you would back home.
- To ensure that damages are not attributed to your family's stay, make a record of any problem areas during check in. Make contact with the host immediately to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.

- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a excellent time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
