- Summer time is high season in Fripp Island. Booking your Beaufort, SC vacation home in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Beaufort, SC vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
- Some property management companies offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if discounts are available for your group.
- Property managers usually offer renters an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
- Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guide magazines contain discounts for nearby accommodations and attractions.
